What is QSEA in the Community?

QSEA in the Community is a full-day, engineering-focused, educational summer program for students entering grade 6 or 7 that exposes participants to engineering design, and makerspace technologies.  Our goal is to provide students with meaningful engineering activities  at several sites around the Greater Kingston Area including: Kingston East, Kingston West, North of Kingston and Napanee. The team-based design projects involve collaboration, leadership, communication, creativity, and critical thinking. These are based on the same concepts and methodologies Queen’s Engineering students study.

The Academy runs weekly in July and August, and the cost is $185 per student. Please see below for locations, dates and a schedule that highlights daily activities.
