Queen's Summer Engineering Academy Junior and Intermediate

Do you know an aspiring engineering who is currently in grade 4  through 8? You can give them an introduction to the Queen’s Engineering experience with Connections: Queen’s Summer Engineering Academy (QSEA) Junior or QSEA Intermediate.

Registration for QSEA Jr. and QSEA Int. 2020 begins January 2, 2020

What is QSEA Junior & QSEA Intermediate?

With both residence and day options available, the QSEA Junior and QSEA Intermediate programs are an engineering-focused educational summer program for students currently in grade 5 and 6 or  grade 7 or 8 that exposes participants to engineering design, innovation, robotics, and makerspaces. The QSEA Jr. and Int. programs presents students with a broad engineering overview, using hands-on learning through thought-provoking projects to inform and engage students without being technically overwhelming. The team-based design projects involve collaboration, leadership, communication, creativity, and critical thinking.

The Academy runs in  July and August, and offers two concurrent programs per week. Participants can attend a one-week session or, to get a complete picture, they can register for multiple sessions.
