Program Details

This program presents an introduction to engineering through project based learning and the opportunity to use Queen's labs and facilities. For students who will be going into grades 7-9 next school year, QSEA Intermediate will help prepare participants for their next school year and through hands-on experiences will build their collaboration, leadership, communication, creativity, and critical thinking skills!

 

 

2025 Courses

Participants in the Future Engineers: Land and Sea program will have the unique opportunity to design and build solutions to real world problems, with a focus on the built environment. Using Queen’s facilities, including labs and studios, participants will test their designs using technical testing methods and use their critical thinking and creativity to develop design improvements. Join us for an exciting week of hands-on activities to build your problem-solving skills and experience the world of engineering!

Session Dates: August 5th to 8th, 2025 (4-day week)

For those with a keen interest in coding and technology, join our Future Engineers: Technical Innovators program to experience a week of building your innovation and robotics expertise. Participants will have the opportunity to work with a variety of technology and robotic devices to develop their technical skills, with a focus on coding, AI concepts, 3D modeling, and more.
